京都で創業70年の和装染色屋の三代目で、染色のみならず柄の研究も重ねて、妥協のないモノ作りを行ってきて一般和装着物から、テレビ衣装で使われる業務用着物、沖縄舞踊、かりゆしシャツ生地等と様々なジャンルの商品をプロデュースしてきました。「商品の作り手だからこそわかる商品特性を活かしつつ型にとらわれない着こなし方を広めたい」そんな思いからOguri Kimono Salonを始めました。
Oguri Kimono Salonは「Kimonoに自由を」と言うコンセプトのもと、保守的なスタイルが常識だった（KIMONO)の世界に自由な着こなし方を取り入れて発信しています。
